I would recommend that you get some mortgage PLR articles and rewrite them a bit. The other option is looking at sites like ezines for a database of articles.

You have start writing and posting to your site.

Private Rights Label content. It means the article author/owner gives you the right to use the article on your site. I would recommend a rewrite of the article because Google will not indexed duplicate content. So take the articles and rewrite it in your own words and put it up on your site make sure to use your keywords every 100 words or so.

You can do a search for free themes, download the theme that you like, and then upload it to your hosting domain using a FTP software like Filezilla --->public html --->domain name---->wp content ---->themes
This works for plugins too, but instead of theme folder you upload the file to the plugin folder.

As far was content, you'll have to play with the CMS software you are using. With wordpress it's a matter of either creating a new page or a new post in your control panel.

Writing content is one of the most important, and hardest, things I do to my website. It is hard for me for some reason, but the actual design is easy for me. Hmmm....

According to me when you create a category page, your theme, by default, lists all of your articles marked with that category and some themes show post titles, other themes show full articles, and Thesis gives you the power to change it at will with just a few clicks.
You must also have the knowledge of the HTML, javascript etc. so that you can easily link the article to your website.
