There are a lot of mortgage and real estate theme that you can use in wordpress. Just select one that you like and activiate it. Play around with the widgets so that you are happy with the site's layout.

With wordpress. There are free themes are over the internet. Most are free some you'll have to pay for. Just do a google search for "free wordpress themes".

You have to use a FTP client, which is a software that transfers file save on your comp to the host servers. I use filezilla, it's the best in my opinion.  You can do a search on www.youtube.com to see how to use it. It is fairly easy to use.

Most hosting now provide a simple install of wordpress. You will have to go to your hosting control panel and look at a way of installing wordpress or go to www.wordpressdirect.com and use their free service. I would not recommend signing up for a membership because you get 3 free install of wordpress.

I noticed you finally got the wordpress to install correctly for you. To find themes just do a google search and pick one you like and use FTP to upload it to your hosting  htmlpublic folder ->your domain-->wp content->wp-themes.

Once this is done you have to login into your site control panel at www.yourdomainname.com/wp-admin  (yourdomainname.com is whatever your site name is)

Go to the Manage section and click themes. choose the theme and check activiate.

Hello all.

Ann, are you talking about just setting up a blog through wordpress? If so, there is no need for hosting, as you can just set your domain name to redirect to your wordpress blog.

But with the redirecting you lose the option of adding plugins, which I think is a must.

I was assuming you were referring to redirecting your domain name to your established wordpress blog hosted by wordpress. In this case you would not be able to install any plugins  and ad senses. Here's a complete list
Code:
