I know everyone hates realtors, But I need one. I just got thru my first month with no loans and only 1 potential. So Im thinking on getting some realtors. I was wondering about the presentation torwards the realtor. What do I all need to bring and offer to get him under my belt. Just so you know Im 21 and really dont know of anyone that is looking for houses besides the leads that we have. I am willing to do the open houses, make the flyers and the sign in sheets. What should I do? If there are any other ideas on where to market, please let me know and how. THanks!

Though you can definitely sell your home yourself, it is not so easy. In our area it takes over 8 months on average to get a home sold and over half expire in our MLS before they sell. A Realtor spends their whole day buying and selling real estate, working with other people who do that all day too. I can't tell you how many of my sales came because I "pitched" someone's listing at a team meeting or realtor event and someone else had a client that wanted that kind of house. As with everything there are GREAT realtors and terrible realtors. Don't just pick anyone, get a referral from a trusted source.
