my current lender keeps telling me for past 6mos they don't have the info to refinance the freddie mac loans yet.  can i go somewhere else to refinance or should i wait till my lender can do it.  i'm very confused about why some lenders are all set with the freddie mac refinance and mine isn't.

Thanks

Hello Willyb,

this is where the internet really shines!  There are any number of refinancing companies that will provide you quotes or discuss the particulars of your situation for free, without having to leave your home.

My first suggestion would be to check out a few of them - they aren't hard to find - and see what they can do.  A few minutes spent on your PC doing some looking around at the options can give you some good options.

Most, if not all will have a search box - if you can't find a quick link to freddie mac refinancing, just enter it into the search and you'll be presented with specific options.
