Hi guys, I paid a lady by the name of Donna Chavez out of Mariposa $900.00 upfront in the form of deposits to her checking account for credit repair service.

She was supposed to get a Foreclosure off my credit report. Yes I have a Foreclosure, it was a tough time last year but I think we all know that. Its embarassing talking about it here, but I needed help from my coworkers (you guys)

She never did anything and after I paid her she dissapeared. She stressed me out until I paid her (called everyday and tried scare tactics on how the bureas were changing their policy about rescoring) and then after she got paid...nothing.

What can I do? I am in much better shape than last year, life is great, but this bugs me. She took advantage of me when I really needed help.

any advice would be appreciated......

If you felt like you got ripoff them make a report at www.ripoffreport.com, it won't get you the money back, but it will warn others not to far for the scam.

He is right, you are better off doing it your self. Thank goodness for technology! Today, with a click of a button, you can find out where you stand with your credit history. Many times there are errors, duplicate items, judgments, and items older than 7 years, which can easily be disputed. You can even pull your credit for free once a year.
One of the benefits of pulling your own consumer credit is that it does not affect your score. You can pull your history separately with each credit bureau and dispute individual items. Within a month of any item being disputed, you can get results that would sometimes blow your mind! Check out this free site to start gaining the information you need about your credit:www.annualcreditreport.com
Paying your credit cards on time is essential to your credit health. 30% of your credit score is base on this history. Keep your balance below 50% and for even better optimization under 30% of your granteed credit limit. A lot of people fall behind their payments, due to a busy life style and procrastination. A word of advice and this is what works for many is to join an online banking and schedule automatic payments to your card holders this also works for most of your obligations. Therefore, allowing you a piece of mind while eliminating the hazel of mailing and buying postal stamps.
Good luck to you!!

Most time it is best to use Paypal for such thing. If you don't get what was promise you can get your money back by filing a dispute. I have done this in the past.
