So here is my whole ordeal. I currently owe right at what my home is worth. The market is absolutely flooded and from a few realtor's assessments the values will continue to decline. My significant other has poor credit but could attempt to get a home loan. Would it be possible to co-sign with her (I have excellent credit) and move into the new home? I would make every attempt to rent / possibly short sale my home but I am wondering if all of this is even a possibility? Any advice. I mainly want to get out of the home I am currently in.
