In the current market and without being rude how are other realtors filtering out the timewasters?

I've got a couple of tricks which have worked really well recently. You show me yours and I'll show you mine!

They all waste time in my opinion. Tire kickers are always going to be in this business. I have never figured out how to weed them out.

It's the law of average. You have to talk to 100 people to get 10 prospects and out of the 10 maybe make 1 or 2 deals.

a good start is to engage them in conversation and see if they are actually willing to discuss what they are looking for.

If not, they are probably just window shopping and don't want to be dragged into a situation where they will eventually have to worm their way out of.
