Just thought I'd throw these out there for those that are having a hard time building a buyers list. I know it's not much, but every bit counts, so yeah I hope it helps.

1. Go to a local real estate club

2. Go to a public auction

3. Ask a renter for the properties he's interested in

4. Look for the "I buy houses" ads in the newspaper

5. Go to craigslist, backpage or any other websites that have ads.

I totally agreed. I have done #1 and #5 with a lot of success. The people at those real estate clubs are wonderful and there are deals to be made there. A good resource for the local investment club is reia.com .

I agreed you can get some names and numbers from the public auctions. You can send out direct mailers to apartments in your area that has worked out for me. I have always manage to get a few leads that way. Work with an realtor and split the cost.

I think the real estate club is a good one. I have done a lot of business there and have made a lot of good contacts

Everything works well, when you know where and how to use it. There are lots of ways, so people usually choose these which looks best for them. And to find discover your best ones, you should try different ways. We all have different skills and abilities, so the results of using similar ways are usually different too.
