In this economy, is it even logical to spend the money to take your family on a vacation? Or should we just save up our money for when the banks crash? It's just a question that I've had on my mind for a very long time. I'm glad that I've finally asked it. I'd like to know your opinions.

I would go, just because you never know when you're going to get another chance to take them again. So, I would make it worthwhile, and go somewhere that the whole family will love to go to. Like Disneyland or something like that. I think that it would be a wonderful thing to do.

You may find you can actually get great deals at the moment.  people are holding off on dicretionary purchases like holidays which creates more competition in this space.  You can probably get pretty good bang for your buck at the moment, and travel agents will be tripping over each other for your business.

I love summer and I especially love vacations. Luckily, I am experiencing both at the moment.
