i prefer google over yahoo because google has its own data centres but yahoo fetches data from dmoz directory.

I'd say google without a doubt. Googles search engine technology is years ahead of yahoo's and bing's. They index new sites faster, and also calculate every site's backlinks and other seo factors faster, so if you are actively doing good seo work, you move up in google much faster than in the other search engines. Google is my favorite than Yahoo, As I have started with Yahoo but Google is more reliable and friendly user than Yahoo. Google has it's own data centers and Yahoo fetches from Dmoz directory. Yahoo is older than Google but Google is faster and uncomplicated service provider.

The services provided by google are much better and faster in comparison to yahoo, and after the launch of Google+ it is doing in good in social networking too.

As I know Yahoo is more older than Google and Both has many services are same like E-mail, Search engine. But Google is more simple and uncomplicated search result provider. Google has many services which are more better than Yahoo. So, as per my opinion and experience Google is more better than Yahoo.

Both are very good google as well as yahoo.google is best for searching and Yahoo is best for Question Answer.
